1. Area Five will meet at the Ellsworth Community of Christ Church,283 State Street, Ellsworth....This is the white church between Ellsworth Builders Supply and Ellsworth High School, across the street from Duncan Donuts. on Wed. Oct. 26, 2011. We are not meeting at St. Joseph's.

4. Five Inch Charm Square Collection: In Nov. bring 24 5 inch squares of the same color of fabric that are either tans or golds if you are participating.

• Mary Booher for demonstrating how she quilted on her 27 foot diesel powered boat, Dulcinea, using her "Singer Sew Handy". You can see photos of Mary's demonstration on our Island Quilters Facebook page.
• Jill Ames for demonstrating how to make a spiral table runner. You can buy the pattern by going to http://phillipsfiberart.danemcoweb.com. Jill agreed to teach a 1/2 day workshop in Feb.
• Pat LaPierre's Machine Quilting Workshop in September
• For Ruth and Maggie in selecting this years Challenge Fabric. It is not to late to join in. The fabric will be at our Nov. meeting.

5. We selected by secret ballet the MDI food pantries to be the recipient of this years Pro-Bono Quilt.
6. We now have an email address for our guild. The address is mdiquilters@gmail.com and we have a blog too! The name of our blog is: islandquiltersnews.blogspot.com We are hip and working in the computer age because we have had a Facebook page since Our One Block Wonder workshop last spring. Check out our Island Quilters Facebook page and notice the new entries.
